Jobs are hard to get
for college kids with no experience, but internships and volunteer
work are pretty easy to find and both look good on a resume. You
usually have more schedule flexibility, plus you can afford it
because your parents are paying your way. Stop talking to that bitch,
seriously. The girl is calling you up for emotional and
conversational support because her ex-now-boyfriend probably treats
her like shit, which is why he is fucking her and you arent. Either
chew her the thing out and hang up next time she calls you wanting to
talk about her bullshit, or just don't answer. Yeah actually just
dont answer. Nothing good will come of that. You have the same
misconception about confidence that a lot of young people have. You
dont sit down with a pen and paper and brainstorm "hmmm how do i
confidence???" Confidence is not a goal, it's a byproduct of
achievement in your life. Pick two things you want to be better at.
For example the big one for me is physical fitness, but they can
literally be anything you want to be good at. Work at them until you
are and until the results are visible in some way to others. That
good feeling that you have at the end when you're better than you
were before? That's confidence.
